Summary: It takes a decent imagination to make a book really spring to life. Keep in mind though, that was just a metaphor. You REALLY don't want books to come to life most of the time, especially horror novella.

History: Virginia's really got her head in a nice book. Specifically, "I, Madman", a story about a psycho named Alan Kessler, who mutilates his victims and applies their physical features to himself so that he may impress a lady. Unfortunately, she unwittingly has the power to bring characters by the same author to life, and soon, Kessler is loose in the modern world, looking for fresh bodies.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Before Kessler can claim another, Virginia summons another book monster, an emancipated werewolf, to attack him. The werewolf, in spite of being sliced in half midway through the fight, launches itself and Kessler through a window, where they dissipate into pages.

Powers/Abilities: Incredible resilience.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-Yowza, Kessler probably needed some extra surgery (never mind the unethical way he got it) after all! Looking like a rotting corpse, he is disturbingly eloquent still, and on top of that, his summoner was none the wiser. Who knows who she'll accidentally summon next?
